This project was the final phase of the 25th Anniversary Celebration. Three lillies and a marker in honor of each of the classes of Leadership Hazleton were placed in 25 sites throughout the area.

Congrats to Nancy Stasko '96 for being selected as the Chamber of Commerce Athena Award winner for this year! She is Secretary of the Castle Capital Campaign Committe, United Way Board of DIrectors and Allocations Panel member among many other community activities.

Jane Dougherty '93, Jack Vozar '11, Michele Jais '92 and Sylvia Goughenour '08 were all ESL/Adult teachers for the lst session and will be returning as volunteer teachers in September, 2011
Amy Herbener '07 and John Schwear '03 are members of the American Cancer Society Volunteer Council.
Kathleen Vozar '08 is the new President of the Greater Hazleton Senior Citizens Services, Inc. She replaces past Board President, Marlin Duncan, another Leadership alumnus, '05. Theresa Perkowski '06 was elected Board Treasurer.
Helping out the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Board of Directors are Lea Ann Davidovich and Tony Sandutch '10.
YMCA-YWCA Board members for the year include alumni Jane Danish, '01, Cathy Colangelo-Amanda Morrison-Crystal Harris Smithnosky and Yvette Trent, '09. Also Carole Shearer '07, Pat Korb '86, Jim Lundy '88, Andrea Andrews '90, Jose Rodriguez '10 and Niurka de la Rosa '11.
